New Interim Moderator Appointed

We are pleased to note that, effective March 1, The Rev. Jeff Lackie will become our interim moderator, and will help guide us through the process of searching for a new minister. Jeff Lackie has been the minister of word and sacrament at St. John’s, Medicine Hat since the fall of 2017. Before that, he was a minister in Nova Scotia. During that time, he served for two terms (6 years) on the Life and Mission Agency of the PCC. Jeff is a graduate of Knox College and the University of Western Ontario.

Since coming to Alberta, Jeff has served as the moderator of the presbytery of Calgary-Macleod for a year, and was the convenor of the Mission and Strategy and Admin committees. His positive energy and innovative thoughts will be of benefit to Westminster. Welcome, Jeff! We look forward to working with you.
