This event has already occurred
This Sunday is the last Sunday of the liturgical (church) year, as the church year starts with the first Sunday of Advent, which is next week. It's sometimes called the Reign of Christ Sunday, and some of the music will reflect that theme.
We'll also consider our November theme of dreams for "growing up" - or realizing our own futures. And while we all try to shape our futures so that we become the kind of person we want to be, there are challenges along the way. What can we do when we feel we are spending too much time on things that really aren't important? How do we continue to move forward with purpose and hope? Come along and consider this with us on Sunday. And please stay afterwards for conversation and some refreshments.
