We're continuing our exploration of dreamers from the Bible, and this week we'll look at Joseph -- not the many-coloured coat Joseph, but the one who married Mary, mother of Jesus. In the reading on Sunday, we learn about Joseph, who has decided to break off the engagement with Mary after he learns about her unexpected pregnancy. Although Joseph has made up his mind, an angel appears to him in a dream and convinces him to change it.
Joseph wakes up with a new resolve, and does as the angel tells him, despite the unknown implications this may have. Do your dreams ever prod you to change your mind about something? If they do, how do you respond?
